Of all the exterior colors out there, purple is a rare sight. That's why we were so thrilled to find this beautiful circa 1882 Victorian located in Chatham, New Jersey. Its rich plum hue radiates charm and lets the white and gold gingerbread flourishes pop, offering undeniable curb appeal. The interior embraces color in a whole different way — through a palette of muted shades. Opting for pastels help make the rooms, which were recently renovated to create a more open floor plan, appear even larger. The pastels also bring the focus to original architectural features like inlaid floors, archways, crown molding, exposed brick, and fireplaces.
