Looking For A Piece Of History? Buy Franklin St. House For $3 Million
Annapolis Capital Gazette - January 11, 2015

An international website specializing in historic properties features a $3 million Annapolis parcel.

Husband and wife team Peter and Meggen Taylor launched FindEverythingHistoric.com in November as a way to connect buyers with historic properties. The site lists 10 properties in Maryland including one in Anne Arundel County — a house at 59 Franklin St in Annapolis.

The house's current owner put about $1 million worth of renovations into it to restore it to its original themes, listing agent Travis Gray said. The Taylors contacted him a few weeks before the launch and told him they wanted to feature the Franklin house. "The benefit to being part of their site is (interest in the property) will grow much more as they grow," said Gray, of Coldwell Banker. Gray said being featured on the Taylors' site has given the house more hits online.
