A turret was a classic medieval architectural feature. Today they're a luxury sought after by many historic property buyers. Here's three high-end homes in Los Angeles, Pennsylvania and Southampton that integrated the tower into their architecture.

Our favorite (of course—we're biased) is this home in the Centre Park Historic District in Reading, PA that dates back to 1888. Agent Chris Miller says the home, built in the Queen Anne-style, was designed by Philadelphia architect Frank Furness. From the front turret to the fireplace in the entry, “it’s a classic Furness design,” says Mr. Miller.
