"AHHHH, Savannah". Mention of the name evokes exclamations of delight and sighs of anticipation. Long know for its elegant architecture, ornate ironwork, bubbling fountains, primordial green squares and eccentric citizenry, this southern city-by-the-sea draws 13,000,000 visitors a year earning its reputation as an internationally renowned tourist destination and the moniker "Hip and Historic".

On a shady boulevard in Savannah’s internationally acclaimed National Landmark Historic District overlooking Forsyth Park, Savannah’s largest and most visited historic district ‘square’, the three-story Forsyth Park Boutique Inn was built in 1893 as a private residence of a well-to-do Savannah sea captain and his family. Established as an inn 28 years ago and thoughtfully restored to preserve its character, the structure retains many of its original details including 14-foot ceilings, windows large enough to walk through, massive, 12-foot, solid wood interior doors, intricately patterned parquet floors, twelve fireplaces  and shaded veranda. Today, the inn's interiors are a guest-pleasing blend of period details and modern conveniences with historical inspiration.

Secluded and spacious, the walled courtyard, with its softly gurgling fountain, lush plantings and Spanish moss-draped oaks, provides an ideal setting for hosting receptions and other special occasion events. Other times, the sun-dappled courtyard beckons guests for a leisurely breakfast or to relax with an iced beverage at the end of a busy day of exploring and shopping among Savannah’s unique and eclectic historic district boutiques.

Revenues and occupancy at the Forsyth Park Inn have increased dramatically over the past several years. Most recently, (June 2014 - June 2015) sales exceeded $52,000 per guest room and occupancy was a strong 63% during the same period. The inn’s performance exceeds national averages for same size inns as reported in Professional Association of Innkeepers International’s recent survey of industry operations. The business will service the mortgage debt and provide the new owners a handsome income.
